No No to NANO

The Crusader of the Poor as she was so affectionately called, true to her title, Ms. Mamata Banerjee rose to the occasion recently in raising her vociferous objections against Mr.Ratan Tata's pet dream project, the indigenous NANO. And this is no ordinary feat, rallying against the government's decision in showing the all thumbs-up to this controversial project amidst all the demonstrations and rallies attempted at showcasing the adverse side of this project.

This move of hers comes at a time when most part of this country is literally being put at stake, for these capitalists to help themselves, in the form of SEZ's and several other governmental initiatives accused to be anti-poor.Though these measures are laudable up to a certain extent considering the technical progress they equip our country with, however they shouldn't be allowed to progress at the expense of the lower hardworking class of our society whose existential dependence on land cannot be put to question.

Now comes the million dollar question. Are SEZ's of any worth that they initially were assumed to be of. Well agreeably this particular issue is now definitely the epicenter of many a debates in this country and naturally our politicians don't want to miss out on this action and the umpteen benefits they can gather up in the process.I personally feel, issues like these can never be generalized as a whole and are best left to the people of the particular regions to analyse, raise and rebuke any discomforts that might affect their well being in any respects. After all , the Janata, here, is the Giver and the mighty capitalists, the takers.
