The Rise of the INDIAN DAVID!!

The Left long since being considered a politically egalitarian and reformism-centered party has sprung up with the unexpected. This act, if we were to go through the canons of the ideal-rich communist heritage, is no less an act of debauchery and sacrilegiousness. And it has been aptly nipped back by the junta in a firm expression of dissatisfaction and dissent. Considering this verdict against the Left, close on the heels of a overwhelming majority to the existing goverment at the centre, no time can be afforded to be spared by all the parties that have been made
to bite the dust by an indian electorate which has evolved and transformed itself from the status of a mere passive participator to a decisive contributor in the running of the largest democracy in the world. A achievement for which they indeed deserve a pat on their backs and more importantly a better, able and answerable governance quenching their long time silent sufferings.

Going back to the topic on the current sorry state of the Left parties, it is one inexplicable position these parties found themselves ever since their debut into the indian political scenario. Never before was this party so confusing in its offerings to the working class, undoubtedly the target population of all their policies and viewpoints, that they ultimately sacrificed the basic ideals upon which they built themselves such a gargantuan and impressive empire. The
very power-greedy capitalists that these people were fighting against not until a long time ago, they now find themselves under accusations not on a very unsimilar note. In having seeked the assistance of political parties that are not so very popular among the plebeians and the proletariats and in having teamed up with those political parties with which it has
locked horns with not until a long time back, the communists have managed only to blemish the reputation that they have so pain-stakingly built over a long daunting course of time. The damage done was there to be seen by all. Left parties being wiped out on their very own home-turfs of west bengal and kerala, long being considered their safe havens by many a critics as well, and their failure to leave atleast a footprint in states like AP, Karnataka, which
are in no doubt active players in contributing to the noble cause of communism in the past.

The communists have got none to blame except themselves for the pitiable situation that they find themselves in now. They have no time to sit back and lick their wounds. And if at all they seek some useful contribution from these wounds towards their well-being, they have to keep reminding themselves of how they earned themselves these. They have to shed and shred. Shed the power-greedy grab that they have so unthinkingly put on and shred all those diabolical
battle plans they drew in the run-up to the recent elections. They have to wake up to the fact that the very indian electorate, whom the communists must be feeling, served them a raw and an unfair deal in the recent mandate, were the very population which stood by them in the thick and thin of times. Only apart from the fact that they have evolved into a more politically conscious group, nothing has changed with that electorate in other important aspects, loyalty
being the only factor dubitable as for now.

This has been a clear case of david and goliath with the communists, and not to forget the third front, on the receiving end of the sling-shot. Not only has this 'david' rose up with a sheer determination and his own very personal manifesto but he also equipped himself with a farmore sophisticated arsenal in his repertoire - His unfaltering POLITICAL JUDGEMENT!
